The tee is the pipe fitting that connects the main pipeline and the branch pipeline. According to the different manufacturing materials and uses, the tee pipe fitting

can be divided into many types.

Divided from the specification:

It can be divided into same diameter tee and different diameter tee. Same diameter tee is also called equal diameter tee;

The same diameter tee means that the diameter of the branch pipe is the same as that of the main pipe.

Reducing tee means that the diameter of the branch pipe is smaller than the pipe diameter of the main pipe, so it is also called unequal diameter tee, and the quantity of the reducing tee is more.

Malleable Iron tee pipe fitting

The manufacturing materials and specifications of malleable steel tees are the same as malleable steel elbows. They are not used much in petrochemical process pipelines. They are mainly used for indoor heating, water supply and gas pipelines.

Steel tee pipe fitting

The production of shaped tees is made of high-quality pipes as raw materials, which are cut, drilled, heated and drawn with a mold, and then machined to become a shaped finished tee. Welding is used in the on-site installation of tee links for finished products of medium and low pressure steel. There are two types of tee joints used for steel coiled pipes. One is to cut steel plates in a processing plant and then be rolled and welded; the other is to dig holes to take over at the installation site.

High pressure tee pipe fitting

There are two types of high-pressure tees commonly used, one is welded high-pressure tees, and the other is integral forged high-pressure tees.

Welded high-pressure tee, using high-quality high-pressure steel pipe as the material, the manufacturing method is similar to digging the pipe, the hole on the main pipe should be consistent with the diameter of the connected branch pipe. Welding quality requirements are strict, usually preheating before welding and heat treatment after welding. Its specification range is DN16～200mm, pressure 22MPa, 32MPa.

Integral forging high-pressure tee, generally using threaded flange connection. Its specification range is table number SCH160, DN15～600mm, the table number is added with "XXS", and its pipe diameter range is DN15～300mm.
