What are the classification of industrial belts

Industrial belts are divided into three categories: industrial transmission belts, automotive transmission belts and conveyor belts. The first two belong to the transmission belt. The transmission belt is used to transmit mechanical power, including flat transmission tape and triangle transmission tape (V-shaped tape). It is composed of rubber and reinforced materials (such as cotton canvas, rayon, synthetic fiber or steel wire, etc.). It is made of multi-layer rubber canvas, synthetic fiber fabric, cord and steel wire as a tensile layer, covered with rubber and then formed and vulcanized. Compared with gear transmission and chain transmission, the belt transmission has the advantages of simple mechanism, low noise and low equipment cost, and is widely used in various power transmission. The endless belt driven on the machine is sleeved on two belt pulleys, mostly made of cowhide or core rubber, commonly known as belt.

The transmission belt is the power generated by the rotation of the motor or engine of the prime mover, and is transmitted to the mechanical equipment through the belt through the belt, so it is also called the power belt. It is the core connecting component of electromechanical equipment, with a wide variety of uses and extremely wide applications. From giant motors as large as several thousand kilowatts to small motors as small as one kilowatt, even including precision machinery such as home appliances, computers, robots, etc., are inseparable from the transmission belt. Its biggest feature is that it can be freely shifted, far and near transmission, simple structure and easy replacement. Therefore, there are transmission belts from the original machinery to modern automatic equipment. The product has undergone many evolutions and the technology has become mature.

Transmission belt can be divided into triangle belt, timing belt (tooth belt, timing belt), flat belt (film base belt, dragon belt), agricultural machine belt, high-speed oil-proof belt, round belt (round belt), flat belt, water tower Belt (wide-angle belt), transmission belt, motorcycle transmission belt, V-belt (V belt), parallel belt, multi-groove belt, hexagon belt, flexible belt, traction belt, automobile belt.

Conveyor belts are widely used in cement, coking, metallurgy, chemical, steel and other industries where the transportation distance is short and the transportation volume is small. The conveyor belt uses multi-layer rubber cotton canvas as the skeleton, and the surface is covered with a rubber material with good performance, which is made by vulcanization. All conveyor belts must be connected in a ring before they can be used, so the quality of the conveyor belt joint directly affects the service life of the conveyor belt and whether the conveyor line can run smoothly and smoothly. Common methods for conveyor belt joints include mechanical joints, cold bonded joints, and hot vulcanized joints.

Conveyor belts include ordinary cotton canvas conveyor belts, nylon (NN) conveyor belts, polyester (EP) conveyor belts, large inclination (wavy rib) conveyor belts, skirt partition conveyor belts, endless conveyor belts, pattern conveyor belts, Water belt, PVC or PVG whole core flame retardant belt and various special performance conveyor belts (general flame retardant conveyor belt, heat resistant conveyor belt, burning resistant conveyor belt, high wear resistant conveyor belt, acid resistant conveyor belt, alkali resistant conveyor Belt, cold resistant conveyor belt, oil resistant conveyor belt, high temperature resistant conveyor belt, high strength conveyor belt and food conveyor belt). According to the tensile strength of the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, it is divided into ordinary conveyor belt and strong conveyor belt. The powerful canvas conveyor belt is divided into nylon conveyor belt (NN conveyor belt) and polyester conveyor belt (EP conveyor belt).
